Sandman
Sandman Comic and Movie Review
In the comics Sandman's name was Flint Marko and he was a crook who had escaped from prison and accidentally fell into a site where scientists were conducting mass experiments and that turned his body into sand. He adopted the name Sandman and began to commit a lot of robberies. He and Spider-man have battled many times and the Sandman is also part of the Sinister Six team. In the Ultimate Marvel Universe, Flint Marko is a genetic mutation by industrialist Justin Hammer who attempts to recreate the Super Soldier Serum. Shortly after Doctor Octopus kills Hammer, S.H.I.E.L.D. infiltrates Hammer's factory to obtain experiments Hammer had been working on. Marko uses this opportunity to escape and wreak havoc in New Jersey. S.H.I.E.L.D., with the help of Spider-Man, contains him and imprisons him in a S.H.I.E.L.D holding facility. He also has no color. In Sam Raimi's Spider-man 3 movie, Flint Marko (played by Thomas Haden Church) is Peter's Uncle's killer and Spider-man chases him down for revenge. He turns into Sandman the same way he did in the comics and the reason for his crimes are to help his sick daughter. He teams up with Venom to crush Spider-man and after Venom is killed, Sandman tells Spider-man why he shot his Uncle and to understand. Spider-man forgives him and Sandman peacefully blows away.
Sandman was featured in the Spectacular Spider-man TV series and in this version he started off as a crook with Alex O'Hirn and turned into the Sandman by Norman Osborn and Doctor Octopus. This version stays true to the comics except his origin. Sandman also appears in the Ultimate Spider-man TV series in the episode where Spider-Man and his team encounter Sandman on an island that Nova finds to use as a vacation spot. Sandman first appears to them in the form of a young boy named Sandy who wants to play with Spider-Man's team. Spider-Man's team finds Sandy's "brother" Flint who claims that Sandy always playing in the ruins (which suddenly forms). When Spider-Man's team goes on a tactical retreat, Sandy turns into sand and moves the S.H.I.E.L.D. Quinjet to the top of the ruins daring them to come get it. Spider-Man and his team end up attacked by Sandy and Flint who then forms a sand labyrinth for them to maneuver around. Power Man finds hieroglyphics where it said that Sandman escaped from prison and was caught in an explosion that gave him his powers. The hieroglyphics state that Nick Fury dropped Sandman on the island. Flint and Sandy combine into one Sandman which Spider-Man and his team fights. Sandman is also seen working with Spider-man and he has a new suit during later episodes.
Amazing Spider-man Sandman
In my opinion Thomas Haden Church was amazing at playing Sandman and I don't think that they should replace him with another actor in future Amazing Spider-man films. There is no discussion about Sandman appearing in any future films or the Sinister six spin-off so I guess we would see in a few years.

Carnage
Carnage Review
Carnage does not appear in Sam Raimi's Spider-man trilogy, but he would've made an appearance on the big screen if Spider-man 4 hadn't been canceled. In the comics, the guy who became Carnage, Cletus Kasady was a dangerous serial killer who also had serious mental problems and was sen to Ravencroft institute. There he shared a cell with Eddie Brock (Venom). Then the alien symbiot that turned Brock into Venom broke him out of Ravencroft and Cletus Kasady noticed that the symbiot had spawned another baby red symbiot which grabbed Kasady's hand and bonded with him turning him into another venom with the color red instead of black and a more murderous behavior and adopted the name Carnage. Carnage began creating mass murdering s and homicides, and this followed with various battles with Spider-man who surprisingly teamed up with Venom to stop Carnage. The Ultimate Marvel version of Carnage is a self-regenerating vampiric organism based on the symbiotic suit research of Richard Parker, created by Curt Conners and consists of his own DNA and that of Peter Parker, which at the time contained samples of the Venom symbiote. When Carnage was first introduced, he was a blob of instinct, with no intelligence or self-awareness, with his only aim to feed on the DNA of others to stabilize himself. This incarnation kills Gwen Stacy, forcing Peter Parker to give up being Spider-man once he defeats the monster. After feeding on multiple people, Carnage turns into a damaged form of Richard Parker. Carnage and Parker battle and Peter throws the beast into a fire factor steel chimney, killing it. After the laboratory is closed, Ben Reilly (a colleague of Curt Conners) takes the second sample of Parker's blood. Ultimate Carnage's appearance is based on Venom, Peter Parker, Curt Conners, and Gwen Stacy. In its monster form, Carnage resembles his original incarnation, such as its large eyes and fangs, as well as the Lizard's claws. In addition, the center of its body glows yellow. But after assuming Gwen's form, Carnage loses this glow in its monstrous form. In its 'human form', Carnage resembles Richard in its first appearance and Gwen in its second. The Carnage symbiote was absorbed by Eddie Brock, leaving Gwen and returning her to a healthy duplicate of the original.Carnage was set to appear in a future Spider-man film, but due to Spider-man 4's cancellation, he has not yet appeared on the silver screen.
Carnage does appear in the Spider-man animated series in two episodes and he mocks Venom by calling him "Dad." Carnage was set to appear in the Spectacular Spider-man TV series but season 3 was cancelled, but in season two you can see a quick cameo of Cletus Kasady wearing a Santa Claus hat. Carnage appears in the Ultimate Spider-man series but instead of being Cletus Kasady, he is Peter Parker who got the suit from the Green Goblin.
The Amazing Spider-man Carnage
Carnage does not appear in the Amazing Spider-man 1 and 2 movie, but he does make an appearance as the villain in the Amazing Spider-man 2 game. Little is known about his back story in the game. Carnage might appear in the Venom spin-off film as the villain and Venom as the anti-hero, but no one knows for sure.
